Todd Ettinger

Hinchliff-Pearson-West

Galesburg

Originally from Taylorville, Illinois, Todd graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in 1991. He has been an Illinois licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1992.

Todd served his apprenticeship with McMullin-Young Funeral Home in Sullivan, before moving to Jacksonville to work with Gilham-Buchanan Funeral Home. Todd moved to Galesburg in September 1996, beginning his career at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services. He is currently a co-owner of the funeral home along with Alan Palmer and Carrie Walters.

Todd has volunteered with many local groups and organizations over the years. Currently, he is a member of the Rotary Club of Galesburg and its board. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Carl Sandburg College Mortuary Science Program, and the Governance Board of the Knox County Health Center.

He is the father of three adult children, Jessica, Jacob, and Allison, father-in-law to Zoe, has a beautiful granddaughter, Amara, and is married to his long-time companion, Rodney Tippett.

When not working, Todd enjoys spending time with his family, and in warm weather, working in his yard and enjoying nature. Vacations find him somewhere warm, preferably Sarasota, Florida, Carlsbad, California, or visiting friends in southern Texas.
